Annual award celebrates exceptional educators and their impact on children and families
October 28, 2026 - Bright Horizons®, a leading global provider of high-quality early education and child care, back-up care, and workforce education services, today announced the 14 recipients of the Janice Hill Memorial Award. The annual award honors educators who consistently exceed expectations by creating meaningful learning experiences, building trusted partnerships with families, and strengthening their communities. This year's recipients were selected from the dedicated classroom teachers who make a difference for children and families every day at Bright Horizons centers nationwide. Nominated by the colleagues, families, and clients who see their impact firsthand, each winner represents the very best of Bright Horizons educators.
The award honors the memory of Janice Hill, who taught at Bright Horizons Campbell Hill Child Care Center for 10 years and dedicated her life to children and families before she died of cancer in 1998. Her commitment to early education continues to inspire the award today.
The educators recognized this year for going above and beyond for children, families, and their center communities are listed below.
