Inaugural Spring Student Showcase highlights research and experiential learning

The inaugural Spring Student Showcase at Buffalo State, an all-day campus-wide event scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, 2026. All classes will be cancelled that day to ensure optimum participation in this dynamic celebration of student achievement and academic excellence.

Designed to spotlight the impressive breadth and depth of talent of our students across all disciplines, the Showcase will bring together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and the entire campus community in a vibrant and inclusive day of learning, discovery, and inspiration. Instead of regular classes, a full schedule of events is being planned, including signature programs such as the Student Research and Creativity Conference and the Graduate Research Fair. Attendees can also look forward to creative exhibitions, performances, workshops, and experiential learning presentations.
