MFA employees receive state decorations

The recipients were recognised for extraordinary professional achievements. Marek Magierowski and Piotr Skwieciński received the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for special merits in foreign service and diplomatic activity. Eleven awardees were decorated for merits in foreign service and diplomatic activity. The Gold Cross of Merit recipients included Elżbieta Bogusińska, Andrzej Jasionowski, Adrian Kubicki, and Irena Lichnerowicz. The Silver Cross of Merit awards were presented to Izabella Chwastowicz, Filip Jasiński, Anna Kostrzewa-Misztal, Dorota Mamaj, and Michał Mazurek. Katarzyna Ananicz and Anna Chabros were decorated with the Bronze Cross of Merit.

Also, 41 Medals for Long-Time Service were awarded in recognition of exemplary and particularly diligent performance of the duties implied by professional work in the service of the State.

The decorations were presented by Agnieszka Jędrzak, Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, who also read a message from President Karol Nawrocki to the awardees. In his letter, the president thanked them for their loyal service to Poland, diligence, and professionalism.
