Great Hill Partners Revitalizes Boston Latin Academy Courtyard

Great Hill Partners believes in making a meaningful impact in the communities where we live and work. As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back, our team recently spent the day at Boston Latin Academy in Dorchester, a distinguished public school known for its rigorous academic curriculum and commitment to developing independent learners and engaged citizens.

Over 60 members of the Great Hill team worked together to revitalize the school's courtyard into a welcoming and functional space for students and staff. In partnership with Boston Cares, the largest volunteer agency in New England, the team built picnic tables to provide durable outdoor seating for classes, lunch periods, student gatherings, and school events; constructed and planted garden beds that bring new greenery and learning opportunities to the courtyard; and further brightened the space with fresh paint and a mural of the school mascot.

Together, these improvements helped restore and refresh an underutilized area, turning it into a vibrant gathering space where the school community can learn, connect, and recharge.
