I-5/SR-15/SR-75 Connectors Closed Evening of July 30

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans crews will close the southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector to northbound State Route 15 (SR-15), the southbound I-5 connector to southbound State Route 75 (SR-75), and the northbound SR-75 connector to southbound I-5 on Thursday, July 30 from 10:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for bridge repair.

Motorists on the southbound I-5 headed to the northbound SR-15 will continue south and exit at W 8th Street, turn left onto the northbound I-5 on-ramp, and connect to northbound SR-15.

Motorists on the southbound I-5 headed to the southbound SR-75 will continue southbound I-5, exit via the National Avenue off-ramp, turn right to reenter the northbound I-5, and utilize the southbound SR-75 connector.

Motorists on the northbound SR-75 may continue towards the northbound I-5 connector, exit on the J Street off -ramp, turn left onto J Street and left onto the southbound I-5 on-ramp.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
