The American Bar Association will observe ABA 3L Week May 11-15, highlighting resources for graduating law students in their third year of study, including practical advice and strategies for preparing for the bar exam and the start of their legal careers.
All law schools are encouraged to provide programming and resources to their 3Ls to celebrate law students preparing to graduate and take the bar. Law schools interested in participating in ABA 3L Week can find out how with this toolkit.
In addition, every graduating 3L who signs up for their first professional ABA membership between May 11-15 will be eligible to claim a "Career Starter Kit." The 3L Week gift, which comes with an ABA travel tumbler and a leather luggage tag, will be shipped to the first 300 people who complete the claim form.
Visit ABA 3L Week for more information and resources designed for new lawyers.
The Young Lawyers Division is committed to representing the newest members of the profession, ensuring that it reflects the society it serves, and providing young lawyers and young lawyer organizations with the tools and opportunities for professional and personal success.
