Atmus is pleased to announce that Krishna Vaddi has joined Atmus Filtration Technologies as Executive Director - Customer Engineering. In this role, Krishna will lead the Customer Engineering team, focused on strengthening customer relationships, gaining insights and tailoring solutions to deliver greater value. He will oversee the product development process with a focus on speed, quality and cost efficiency.
Krishna brings more than 20 years of experience in the automotive, transportation and energy sectors, with expertise spanning the full product life cycle-from development through production, customer engagement and operational strategy.
Before joining Atmus, Krishna served as the Global Director, Quality, at International Motors (a TRATON Group company), leading teams in new product design, manufacturing quality, product audits, field quality follow-up and field test planning. He introduced agile "events testing," reducing field test costs by 40 percent, and through strategic quality transformation initiatives, reduced unscheduled customer visits by 100,000 annually.
Krishna began his career at Cummins in Power Generation, advancing through roles including senior product engineer, product manager, technical program leader for Oil & Gas, and Six Sigma Black Belt for the On-Highway Engine Business.
He later joined International Motors as senior technical leader, product care and continuous improvement, employing advanced machine learning and analytics to achieve significant complexity reduction and cost savings. He then became chief engineer for systems and platform management, leading global teams responsible for all aspects of product follow-up across vehicle and powertrain platforms.

Krishna holds a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University. He is a graduate of the Collaborative Leadership program at Indiana University and holds numerous certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt, Statistical Problem-Solving, SAFe (Agile), Automotive SPICE, DF-X, and system reliability, availability and maintainability.
