Mayor Tamala Takahashi Appointed to SCAG Connect SoCal Subcommittee
Burbank, CA (June 30, 2026) - Mayor Tamala Takahashi has been appointed to the Connect SoCal Subcommittee of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG).
The Connect SoCal Subcommittee was established with representatives from SCAG's policy committees and will serve as a steering group to help implement the Connect SoCal 2050 plan. As a member of the subcommittee, Mayor Takahashi will work with regional leaders on long-range transportation and sustainable communities planning for Southern California.
"I am honored to serve on the Connect SoCal Subcommittee and represent Burbank in these important regional discussions," said Mayor Tamala Takahashi. "I look forward to working with leaders from across Southern California to help shape the future of our region."
