Colusa County Announces Free Flu Shot Community Clinics

COLUSA, CA, September 22, 2025 - Colusa County Public Health announced today that it will be hosting a series of free flu shot community clinics throughout the County. These clinics are an opportunity for residents to get vaccinated and prepare for the upcoming flu season.

Free flu shots will be provided to all individuals ages 12 and older. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Residents are encouraged to wear clothing that allows for the upper arm to be easily bared.

2025 Community Walk-In Clinic Schedule

  • Stonyford: Tuesday, September 30, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Stonyford Community Center, 239 Market Street.

  • Williams: Wednesday, October 1, from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Williams Library, 901 E Street.

  • Princeton: Monday, October 6, from 2:45 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Princeton High School, 473 State Street.

  • Maxwell: Tuesday, October 7, from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Maxwell Library, 34 Oak Street.

  • Arbuckle: Wednesday, October 8, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Arbuckle Parks and Recreation Office, 309 5th Street.

  • Grimes: Monday, October 14, from 2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Grimes Library, 240 Main Street.

  • Colusa: Wednesday, October 22, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Veterans Hall, 108 E. Main Street.

"The winter season is fast approaching, and it's important to ensure that you and your family are prepared for the upcoming flu season," said Elizabeth Kelly, Director of Health & Human Services. "We encourage residents to participate in this free event to better protect themselves and their families from the flu."

Residents who are feeling ill are asked to avoid attending the community clinics.
