On April 28, 2026, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Batyr Tursunov took part in the opening ceremony of the representative office of Belteleradio in China, that was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Beijing.
The event was attended by Dmitry Krutoi, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus; Aleksandr Chervyakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China; Ivan Eismont, Chairman of the National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus; as well as representatives of the Chinese media.
The presence of a leading Belarusian media company in China will contribute to information coverage, including of SCO activities, which will have a positive impact on strengthening the Organisation's international image.
