Jasper County - Drivers should look for alternate routes when Jasper County Route M (Base Line Boulevard) at the Duval Creek bridge north of Joplin CLOSES the week of October 6 for a rehabilitation project, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
This work is part of a larger project that includes rehabilitation of the Missouri Route 43/Spring River and Missouri Route 43/North Fork Spring River bridges. Work on the Route 43 bridges will begin in the Spring of 2026. For more information on the project, see the project website here.
