Public Input needed for pipe replacement project on Route H west of the Big River

JEFFERSON COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking public input regarding a pipe replacement project on Jefferson County on Route H from 0.43 miles west of the Big River.

The project is currently in the design stage.

As part of the project, the road will be closed for approximately one week to install a new pipe and flatten slopes on both sides of Route H. To make these improvements and provide safer slopes, additional right of way will be required from the Merrill Horse River Access (Conservation Commission of Missouri).

This project is currently scheduled for contract bidding in the summer or fall of 2027. The road will be closed to traffic during the pipe replacement, and a signed detour will be in place.
