AUSTIN, TX- August 17, 2026- Hanger Ventures, a Hanger, Inc. business whose primary objective is to advance orthotics and prosthetics innovation and improve patient outcomes, today announced its investment in Prosthetic Fit 360, a Washington-based firm founded by Conor Lanahan, PhD and developed with support of CoMotion the innovation hub at the University of Washington.

Prosthetic Fit 360 has developed Limn Fit™, a sensor-based system designed to provide continuous data-driven insights into prosthetic socket fit to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency. Sensors are embedded into prosthetic sockets and liners to monitor limb-to-socket interface dynamics in real time. The system then processes the signal to generate and deliver clinically meaningful metrics to patients and clinicians.

"Hanger is uniquely positioned to lead the adoption of data-driven prosthetic care, and Prosthetic Fit 360 shares our commitment to advancing patient outcomes through evidence-based solutions," said James Campbell, Ph.D., President of Hanger Ventures. "Limn Fit™, is truly aligned with our mission to enhance the lives of individuals who use prosthetic devices by improving comfort, reducing skin complications, and supporting greater mobility and overall function."

Limn Fit™, is a differentiated approach to prosthetic socket monitoring by measuring the relative motion between the residual limb and the socket as opposed to traditional methods focused on interface pressure, loading, and activity. By quantifying six-degree-of-freedom limb-to-socket movement during real-world use, the system can directly and objectively assess a multitude of clinically relevant fit characteristics such as pistoning, axial rotation, suspension integrity, and changes associated with residual limb volume fluctuations.

"This investment from Hanger Ventures accelerates what Prosthetic Fit 360 set out to do while at CoMotion," said Lanahan. "Our mission is to help patients get more comfortable, better-functioning prosthetic devices. In doing that, we're giving clinicians an objective tool to make better fitting decisions. We're excited to partner with a team that understands both the clinical and operational challenges of prosthetic care, and we look forward to bringing Limn Fit™, to more clinics and patients who deserve better outcomes."

As part of the investment, Hanger will support a pilot study to further assess both clinical and economic value by evaluating how continuous monitoring can inform socket modification frequency, reduce unnecessary follow-up visits, and improve overall clinical efficiency while maintaining or improving patient outcomes.
