Moscow, Idaho - Vivien Liessfeld long jumped a University of Alaska Anchorage school-record 5.89/19-4 at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial.
Her long jump mark ranks third all-time in GNAC history and currently ranks 17th in Div. II.
Her long jump was part of the pentathlon where she finished second with 3,518 points, third-best in UAA history and 10th all-time in the GNAC. She cleared a new personal-best of 1.58/5-2.25 in the high jump, the fifth-best mark in UAA history, and ran 9.00 in the 60 hurdles, eighth all-time at UAA. Her shot put of 10.74/35-3 ranks third-best all-time at UAA.
Sarah Dittman finished eighth in her pentathlon debut with 2,976 points, sixth-best all-time at UAA. She cleared 1.55/5-1 in the high jump, 10th-best all-time at UAA, and her shot put of 8.82/28-11.5 ranks sixth-best all-time at UAA.
Tobin Schmidtke posted several top-10 marks on his way to a third-place finish in the heptathlon with 4,868 points, the fourth-best mark in school history. He cleared 4.30/14-1.25 in the pole vault, fourth-best all-time at UAA, shot put 12.15/39-10.5, fifth-best in school history and long jumped 6.85/22-5.75, seventh-best in school history.
Liv Heite won the 60 hurdles in a time of 8.72 and helped the 4x400 relay to a runner-up finish in 3:57.51. Other members of the relay included Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias, Avery Campbell and Jess Chisar.
Jess Chisar ran 1:33.58 to finish second in the 600, and Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias finished fourth in the hurdles in 9.01.
Tyler Drake posted a pair of top-10 finishes, finishing fourth in the long jump with 6.98/22-10.75, third-best all-time at UAA, and seventh in the 60 hurdles (8.46).
In the 300, AJ Szewczyk and Seth Cupper finished sixth (36.35) and eighth (36.53) in the men's race, and Liv Heite finished seventh in the women's (40.96).
Lucia Garcia ran 2:21.07 to finish seventh in the 800, and Vivien Liessfeld ran 7.81 to finish ninth in the 60.
Mya Campbell finished sixth in the women's long jump (5.60/18-4.5), and Morgan Grant placed eighth in the men's (6.63/21-9).
Hunter Taddy broke his own school record in the 600 (1:23.81) to finish 10th, and Jarrett Jackson ran the second-fastest time in school history (1:24.34) to finish 13th.
UAA will compete at the UW Invite Jan. 30.
