Amo Statement on FBI Director Kash Patel’s Alleged Misuse of FBI Resources During Brown Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC - TODAY, Congressman Gabe Amo (D-RI) released the following statement on FBI Director Kash Patel's alleged misuse of FBI resources during the Brown Shooting.

"The reporting that Kash Patel failed to allocate resources after the mass shooting at Brown University properly is deeply alarming. His potential misuse of an FBI jet during a time when it should have been all hands on deck reflects a troubling pattern of abusing taxpayer funds and poor judgment that has real consequences.

That's why I led my colleagues in demanding accountability from the FBI regarding the status of their investigation so victims and their families get the clarity, accountability, and answers they deserve about whether FBI leadership strained the response during an active mass shooting."
