ICE Arrests Two Criminal Illegal Alien Fugitive Murderers on the Same Day in Georgia and Texas

70% of ICE arrests are of illegal aliens with criminal charges or convictions in the U.S.

WASHINGTON - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) continues to protect the American people through the arrest and removal of dangerous criminal illegal aliens across this country. On October 22, ICE arrested two criminal illegal alien murderers in Texas and Georgia.

In Texas, ICE arrested William Machado, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, wanted by law enforcement since 2022 for murder. During an interview following his arrest, Machado confessed to the 2022 murder.

In Georgia, ICE arrested Salvador Rodriguez-Mendoza, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico with an active arrest warrant for murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by the Clayton County Sheriff's Office. His lengthy rap sheet includes multiple drunk driving offenses, drug possession, driving without a license, and driving on suspended license.

Rodriguez-Mendoza also was previously removed in 2000 and 2018. He chose to commit a felony by illegally re-entering the U.S. for a third time at an unknown date and location.

"These two criminal illegal alien MURDERERS will now face justice thanks to the brave men and women of ICE law enforcement. Machado and Rodriguez-Mendoza have zero regard for human life, and we have NO PLACE for animals like them in our country," said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. "These are the exact type of heinous criminals ICE is arresting and removing from American communities every single day. 70% of ICE arrests have been charged or convicted of crimes in the U.S. Thanks to President Trump and Secretary Noem's leadership, these two dangerous criminals are no longer a threat to Americans."

ICE lodged arrest detainers on both criminal illegal aliens pending the conclusion of their criminal proceedings.
