Call for Objective Reviewers by March 13 for the 2026 ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program

March 5, 2026

ASPPH invites faculty, professional staff, and partners to volunteer as objective reviewers for the 2026 ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program application cycle by March 13. This longstanding program prepares early-career public health professionals for impactful careers in governmental public health through hands-on training and mentorship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Each year, the program depends on the expertise and thoughtful evaluation of reviewers from across academic public health and practice settings. Volunteers will review and score approximately 10 fellowship applications and provide brief, constructive feedback using established criteria and scoring guidance.

Serving as an objective reviewer offers a meaningful professional development opportunity, including early insight into emerging leaders and innovative work across the field, while helping shape the future public health workforce.

The review period will take place from March 23 to April 10, 2026. To volunteer, please apply here by March 13.
