The newest episode of the city of Goodyear's video podcast, "Inside Goodyear", is now available for download. In this episode, Drivers Say the Darnedest Things, hear from Goodyear Police Deputy Chief Chip Kirk as he shares some of the strangest and most humorous excuses drivers give police during traffic stops.

"We've (police officers) all heard from a driver that they need to go to the bathroom really bad as the reason they were speeding," said Deputy Chief Kirk. "But my favorite excuse from a driver was that they were late to traffic court."

Plus, Deputy Chief Kirk gives the facts behind some of the most common traffic related urban legends like ticket quotas, which color cars get pulled over the most and whether drivers can be ticketed for driving too slow.
