Harold Washington College Recognized as a Top Online College by Newsweek

Harold Washington College has been named one of America's Top Online Colleges 2025 by Newsweek and global data research firm Statista.

The new listing, released on November 5, 2025, ranks the top 250 colleges that offer online undergraduate and graduate programs. Harold Washington College was ranked #102, highlighting its exceptional academics among community colleges, four-year institutions, and graduate schools alike.

According to Newsweek, the ranking is based on a nationwide survey of more than 10,000 individuals who have taken online courses to earn a degree or develop skills for their careers or personal interests. Colleges were evaluated on key factors such as organization, student support, affordability, reputation, student success, recommendation rate, practical relevance, and overall satisfaction.
