NASDA Brings U.S. Agriculture Stakeholders Together on Sustainable Aviation Fuel

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture brought together a group of U.S. agriculture and renewable fuels stakeholders to submit a coordinated response to the U.K. Department for Transport's call for evidence on crop-derived sustainable aviation fuels.

The effort included dozens of stakeholders from across the U.S. agriculture and renewable fuels sectors, including state departments of agriculture, commodity organizations and industry representatives with expertise spanning agricultural production, sustainability, renewable fuels, commodity markets and international trade. Contributors included the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship and Nebraska Department of Agriculture, along with ADM, the American Soybean Association, Gevo, Growth Energy, the Illinois Corn Growers Association and Illinois Corn Marketing Board, the Illinois Soybean Association, the Iowa Farm Bureau, the National Corn Growers Association, Nebraska Corn, the Nebraska Farm Bureau, Renewable Fuels Nebraska, the U.S. Grains and BioProducts Council and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, among others.
