Huffines Auto Dealerships Christmas Parade applications

The City of Lewisville is now accepting applications for the Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville Christmas Parade. The parade is part of the Old Town Holiday Stroll, which will take place over two days this year, Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, in Old Town Lewisville.

The parade will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Applications and new decoration guidelines are available on the "Huffines Christmas Parade" page at cityoflewisville.com. Completed applications are due by Monday, Dec. 1.

All entries should highlight or depict Christmas themes/traditions from a specific era during the past 100 years (1950s, 1980s, etc.)

No Santa or Mrs. Claus is allowed on any parade entry. Santa will conclude the parade on a float provided by the City. Entries are permitted to have references to elves, reindeer, snowmen or any other themed characters.

New Prize Categories and Awards

• Centennial Award ($1,000) - Best representation of a specific decade from 1925-2025 (decor and costumes)
• Best Overall Magic ($1,000) - Most visually appealing and spirited entry from a specific decade
• Best Business/Commercial Entry ($500)
• Best Community Entry ($500) - Churches, nonprofits, community groups

Sponsors for the 2025 Old Town Holiday Stroll include City of Lewisville, Old Town Business Association, Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville, Old Town Lewisville, TStream, Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department, Enviroserve, and Medical City Lewisville.
