Economic sentiment strengthens alongside easing inflation, while house prices continue to rise

The EU Economic Sentiment Indicator improved notably, whilst monthly business indicators showed mixed signals - retail trade and production in services and international trade in goods all increased, while industrial production showed a slight decline.

Inflation moderated, while house prices continued their steady upward trend. Labour market conditions remained favourable, with a low and stable level of unemployment.

The European Statistical Monitor is updated every month with the latest available data for each indicator.
