Bank of Bird-in-Hand, a community-based, full-service bank with approximately $1.725 billion in assets as of September 30, 2025, has opened its eighth branch in Quarryville, Lancaster County, PA. The new branch, located at 355 W. Fifth Street, officially opened on Monday, November 17, 2025.
"Our expansion into Quarryville with a brick-and-mortar branch marks the culmination of long-standing plans for Bank of Bird-in-Hand," said Kevin J. McClarigan, CPA, Chairman of the Board. "Establishing a physical presence in communities previously served by our Gelt Buses reinforces our commitment to delivering quality banking experiences focused on building relationships-five and a half days a week. This achievement reflects the dedication of our staff, Board of Directors, and shareholders."
In addition to Quarryville, Bank of Bird-in-Hand operates branches in Bird-in-Hand, Intercourse, Paradise, Ephrata, Manheim, Schaefferstown, and Lykens Valley.
To celebrate the opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday, November 21, attended by members of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, Southern Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, community leaders, Bank leadership, and valued customers.
