Finding the right meeting room during manual scheduling is now much faster. Ashby automatically recommends rooms based on availability, interviewer working locations, and recent room usage, so the best options appear first.
Instead of searching through long room lists or checking availability one room at a time, you can quickly choose from the rooms most likely to work for your interview.
The meeting room selector now ranks rooms based on what's most relevant to the interview you're scheduling.
Rooms are grouped by building or location. Buildings are prioritized based on where interviewers are working that day or, when that information isn't available, where they've recently booked rooms through Ashby.
Available rooms appear first. Ashby automatically checks room availability during the scheduled interview time and displays available rooms at the top with a green checkmark, making it easy to pick an open room without additional searching.
Working location recommendations require Google Workspace. Recommendations based on where interviewers are working that day use Google Calendar working location data. For Microsoft 365 organizations, or when working location data isn't available, Ashby instead prioritizes rooms based on each interviewer's recent room usage.
Recommendations update automatically. If you change the interview time or modify the interview panel, reopening the room selector refreshes the recommendations using the latest scheduling details.
Automatically checks up to 100 rooms. For organizations with over 100 rooms, Ashby prioritizes checking availability for the 100 rooms most likely to be useful. Additional rooms may appear without an availability status, allowing the room selector to stay fast while still letting you search the full room directory.
The updated meeting room selector is available for manual scheduling on all plans. Open the room selector while scheduling an interview to see personalized room recommendations and live availability. Visit our help center for more information.
