Stifel’s Stephen Huggins Named To Forbes’ Best-In-State Wealth Advisors List for Seventh Time
Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced that Stephen Huggins, Senior Vice President/Investments with the firm's Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated broker-dealer subsidiary, has been named to Forbes' 2026 Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list, marking the seventh time he has earned that honor.
The 2026 Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list spotlights approximately 11,300 top-performing advisors selected from a pool of more than 52,000. Advisors were nominated by their firms then researched, interviewed, and assigned rankings within their respective states.
Mr. Huggins was also named to Forbes' Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. In addition, his team at Stifel's Tallahassee-based Huggins Wealth Management Group was named to Forbes' Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams list in 2024, 2025, and 2026. Mr. Huggins earned a B.S. in Marketing from Florida State University in 1985. In 1988, he was hired as an Account Executive trainee by Morgan Stanley and was promoted through the years, ultimately being named Senior Vice President/Investments in 1997. Mr. Huggins joined Stifel in 2019, and his primary focus is developing retirement planning strategies for small businesses and individuals. Mr. Huggins has conducted seminars and retirement workshops for the employees of some nationally recognized companies, as well as many banks, credit unions, civic organizations, and clubs. "Earning this recognition reflects the long standing relationships our team has built with our clients and our commitment to helping them pursue financial success," said Mr. Huggins.
