‘Know Your Rights’ Training Video Focuses on Immigration Enforcement Concerns
A new training video, "Know Your Rights," is now available for viewing on the CC:Media YouTube channel.
The training video focuses on civil rights as they relate to immigration enforcement and state and city sanctuary laws. It was produced by the City of Human Rights Commission and the Oregon Law Center. Thank you for your help in sharing this resource widely.
The City's December 1, 2025, Emergency Declaration, Resolution No. 2025-33, related to community impacts of federal immigration enforcement, outlined a series of actions for the Human Rights Commission and City staff.
The "Know Your Rights" training video, one of those actions, responds to questions raised within our community. A Spanish translation of the video is in progress and will be released soon.
