Municipal Court Partners with READY for Pack the Campuses Drive

Tuscaloosa, AL - The City of Tuscaloosa Municipal Court is partnering with READY (Resources, Education and Advocacy for Drug-Free Youth) to support this year's Pack the Campuses drive. Pack the Campuses is a collaborative effort between READY, The University of Alabama's Beat Auburn Beat Hunger campaign and Stillman College. All donations will go towards students as they begin their fall semester. Municipal Court will be collecting food, household items and hygiene supplies to help local students as they return to school. Now through September 2, residents can drop off donations in a collection bin located at Municipal Court (2122 Gary Fitts Street).

Most-needed supplies include:

  • Hygiene items such as travel-sized toothpaste and shampoo/conditioner
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Laundry essentials like Tide Pods
  • Canned meat, vegetables, fruit (pop top cans)
  • Easy meals/instant meals including Chef Boyardee, mac & cheese and ramen
