City of Frederick Seeks Community Feedback on Westside Community Center Design

The City of Frederick invites residents to attend a Community Meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 6:30 PM at the Butterfly Ridge Elementary School Recreation Center, located at 601 Contender Way, Frederick, MD 21703.
(Please use the Recreation Center entrance at the rear of the building.)

As part of the design phase for the new Community Center in Westside Regional Park, the City is seeking public input to help shape the vision for the facility. During the meeting, residents will hear updates on the proposed building layout and design since the September 15 public meeting.

Community feedback is essential to creating a space that reflects the values, stories, and identity of the Westside. Attendees will be asked to weigh in on floor plans, architectural style, and ideas for public art and cultural representation.
