Chinese Ambassador to Namibia Zhao Weiping Has Live Interview on 'China Corner' Program of Eagle FM

On September 3, Ambassador Zhao Weiping had a live interview on "China Corner" program of Eagle FM. With the theme of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Namibia, Ambassador Zhao answered questions raised by the host concerning China-Namibia relations.

Ambassador Zhao highlighted the fruitful achievements of the bilateral relations in areas including profound traditional friendship, political mutual trust, trade and economic cooperation, development assistance, and people-to-people exchanges. He emphasized that the development of China-Namibia relations serves the common interests of both sides, with huge potential and broad prospects for future cooperation. He further noted that China is ready to work together with Namibia to implement the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit as well as the consensus reached during the meeting between the two heads of state, so as to bring the partnership to new heights.
