With Social Media Rant, Garrity Reminds Pennsylvanians She Opposes Reproductive Freedom and Won't Protect Their Rights

Following yesterday's ruling by the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court that the state's constitution guarantees an affirmative right to reproductive freedom, Stacy Garrity took to social media to rail against the decision, reminding voters yet again of her extreme opposition to abortion rights.

Garrity's comments are in line with her long track record of opposing personal freedoms. In the past she's said that efforts to protect reproductive care in Pennsylvania are "really disgusting," and that her "100% pro-life" position on abortion has "never changed." She celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade and has made clear she would fight to strip Pennsylvanians of abortion access if elected.

"Stacy Garrity's social media outburst yesterday served as a reminder to voters across Pennsylvania that their most fundamental freedoms are on the ballot this November," said DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy. "Pennsylvanians know that instead of protecting their reproductive rights, Garrity would gladly work to roll them back, and they're ready to reject her resoundingly in November."
