Two Adult Males Located Deceased in North Portland

Death investigations are underway after the bodies of two adult males were located in North Portland.

Death investigations are underway after the bodies of two adult males were located in North Portland.
Officers assigned to the Portland Police Bureau's North Precinct responded to a recycling center in the 700 block of North Hunt Street after the bodies of two adult males were discovered on separate dates. One body was found on Monday, January 5, 2026, and the second was found on Friday, January 9, 2026.
PPB's Homicide Unit responded to both scenes. Detectives are conducting investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the identities of the deceased, as well as the cause and manner of death.
While there is no information to suggest any immediate threat to the public, detectives are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is urged to contact [email protected] and reference case number 26-7892.
