People at Heart Awards: 230 projects, 21 countries, and 4 collective projects celebrated

On March 10, LVMH Maison leaders converged for the second 'People at Heart' event, aligning on strategic People objectives and reaffirming their collective commitment to cultivating people-focused leadership. The event explored various forms of intelligence (Artificial, Business, and Human), increasingly expected from our leadership teams, with a strong focus on talent development within the Group and its concrete impact on the long-term performance of all LVMH activities.

The event was the celebration of the first People at Heart Awards, a Group-wide recognition that spotlights initiatives strengthening collaboration, innovation, and talent development. More than 230 projects from 21 countries and 37 Maisons were submitted, illustrating the diversity and commitment of teams across LVMH.

"Our responsibility at LVMH is to collectively strengthen our ability to navigate complexity and develop the talents that will secure the long-term excellence of our businesses. The People at Heart Awards bring this to life by celebrating what makes LVMH unique: our talents, who are shaping the future of luxury together," said Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, LVMH.

Three Awards were selected by a Jury composed of Group leaders, and the fourth was determined by a collective consultation that gathered more than 10,000 votes from employees within LVMH:

  • The Collaboration Award was given to the team Open Windows, by Christian Dior Coutureand LVMH. This internal initiative brings together teams from several functions and Maisons to repurpose decorative elements (window displays, furniture, sets, etc.) from the retail world. The objective: to give them a second life through inter-Maison circular projects, to reduce waste and support charitable actions.
  • The Innovation in Leadership Award was presented to the team The Louis, by Louis Vuitton in Shanghai, where teams reimagined the Shanghai flagship as a cultural destination and an immersive retail experience thanks to strong cohesion between creative, retail, and operational teams and their capacity for innovation.
  • The People Development & Empowerment Award recognized the pastry team of Cheval Blanc Paris, known for its employee-centric approach to knowledge transfer, prioritizing the recruitment of junior profiles, internal promotion, and dedicated training time to preserve excellence while supporting growth.
  • Finally, the People's Choice Award went to the team MH Wine Games, a global competition designed to strengthen wine expertise across the Group, engaging more than 1,100 employees worldwide and fostering collaboration between entities.

Anchored in the Group's People at Heart Human Resources policy, these Awards recognize initiatives carried out with a strong collective focus, embodying both the entrepreneurial spirit and the collaborative culture of the Group, while supporting talent development.

"To deliver the best results, we need the best teams. At LVMH, our strength comes from the collective energy and entrepreneurial spirit of our employees. The People at Heart Awards highlight initiatives that transform this collective strength into sustainable performance within our Maisons," concluded Stéphane Bianchi, Group Managing Director, LVMH.

This second edition of People at Heart highlighted priorities around the major challenges ahead. A unifying event that confirms the Group's dynamism and its desire to act, in a concrete way.
