09/25/2025 - Fones Rd Update

Building a Safer Street for Everyone
Nighttime Lane Reductions on Pacific Ave

Starting Monday, September 29, crews will begin nighttime potholing work near the intersection of Fones Road Southeast and Pacific Avenue Southeast as part of the Fones Road Corridor project. Work hours are 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., from September 29 through September 30. During this time, crews will use a vacuum truck to dig into the roadway to identify underground utilities. This work is necessary to continue installing the new watermain on Fones Road.

Use Alternate Routes
While one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on Fones Road,it is highly recommended that drivers use alternate routes. This will help ensure the safety of work crews and people who live or work on Fones Road. If you must use Fones Road, please drive slowly.
