Marriott Bonvoy and Samsung Card Launch the Marriott Bonvoy THE PRESTIGETM Samsung Card, Bringing Enhanced Travel Rewards to Korean Consumers at Home and Abroad

Marriott Bonvoy^®, Marriott International's award-winning travel platform, and Samsung Card today announced the launch of the Marriott Bonvoy THE PRESTIGE™ Samsung Card, a premium co-branded credit card designed to deliver a premium hotel points earning experience.

The partnership brings together Marriott Bonvoy's global portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands across 10,000 destinations worldwide with Samsung Card's base of 11.6 million cardholders. In step with Korea's rapidly growing travel demand, the two companies aim to give members a differentiated way to turn everyday spending into a wide range of global travel experiences.

According to Loyalty Trends Report 2026 by Marriott Bonvoy, Korean travelers favor practical benefits such as earning points through co-branded cards and hotel stays and redeeming them toward everyday costs like dining. The Marriott Bonvoy THE PRESTIGE™ Samsung Cardreflects these preferences with generous point accrual and a range of premium services.

Tailored for Korea's premium travelers, the Marriott Bonvoy THE PRESTIGE™ Samsung Card offers a suite of exclusive privileges. Upon issuance, cardholders receive automatic Gold Elite status. Upon reaching KRW 12,000,000 in cumulative spend in the first year (KRW 24,000,000 in subsequent years), Card Members also receive a Free Night Award worth up to 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. Combined with the milestone spend bonus below, Card Members can earn up to two Free Night Awards within a 12-month period.

Everyday spending converts seamlessly into travel rewards: Card Members earn 2 Marriott Bonvoy points per KRW 1,500 spent at all merchants, with no cap. At participating Marriott Bonvoy properties and on overseas transactions, an additional 4 points per KRW 1,500 are earned, and at golf courses, duty free shops, airlines, and department stores, an additional 2 points per KRW 1,500 are earned; the additional points in each of these two categories are capped at 10,000 points per month. Milestone spenders are further rewarded with an additional Free Night Award worth 50,000 points upon reaching KRW 50 million in cumulative spend, and 3,000 bonus points upon reaching KRW 5 million in cumulative overseas spend within the same period.
