COMMUNICATIONS

The Southfield City Council has established the following Rules of Procedure for all speakers:
• Each speaker will have 3 minutes to address the council.
• Each speaker is responsible for his or her comments and the City of Southfield does not, by permitting such remarks, support, endorse or accept the content, thereof, as being true or accurate.
• No speaker may make personal or impertinent attacks upon any officer, employee, or City Councilmember or other Elected Official, that is unrelated to the manner in which they perform their duties.
• No person shall use abusive or threatening language toward any individual when addressing the City Council.
Any person who violates this section shall be directed by the presiding officer to be orderly. If a person addressing the Council refuses when so directed, such person may be deemed by the presiding officer to have committed a "breach of the peace" by disrupting and impeding the orderly conduct of the public meeting of the City Council and may be ordered by the presiding officer to leave the meeting. If the person refuses to leave as directed, the presiding officer may direct any law enforcement officer who is present to escort the violator from the meeting.
The Council may not provide responses to public comments during the meeting. If you have provided your contact information when you sign up for public communications, the City will provide a more formal response to you in the near future should it be needed. The Council may respond to comments at the end of communications if they are able to do so.

A. Presentation and discussion regarding the proposal from Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County to rezone 4 parcels on Westhaven Ave (Parcels 24-34-454-013, -014, -021 & -023) and 2 parcels on Westhampton Ave (Parcels 24-34-454-003 & -004), Southfield, Michigan from R-1 Single Family to RT Attached Single Family and develop a two-family attached residence on one of the parcels on Westhaven Ave (24-34-454-023) (PZR25-0003-Rezoning / PSP25-0007-Site Plan)

B. Presentation and discussion regarding the proposal to redevelop 100 & 200 Galleria Officentre (Parcels 24-17-176-008 & -009) for a Costco Wholesale Warehouse Store and Fuel Station (PCZR25-004-Conditional Rezoning/PSLU25-0009-Fuel Station Special Use/PSP25-0008-Site Plan)

C. PCZR25-0003 - Presentation and discussion regarding the proposal to conditionally rezone the parking lot parcel on the south side of Edwards Avenue west of Greenfield (Parcel 24-12-479-031) and the western 20 feet of 29095-29131 Greenfield from P Parking and B-3 General Business to RM Multiple Family (Low Rise)

D. PSP25-0009 - Presentation and discussion regarding a proposed site plan to construct a new data center on a portion of a vacant parcel along the east side of Inkster Road between W 11 Mile Road and I-696 (Parcel 24-18-351-011)

E. Northland City Center - Presentation and Discussion of Proposed Soccer Dome and other revisions to the Overlay Development District Master Development Plan

F. Emergency Management Presentation

G. Library Mechanical System and Hot Water Repairs

H. 2024-2025 Year-End Actions; Fund Balance Allocations (Rule 10 - immediate need to act)
