Norton Rose Fulbright's private wealth, trusts and estates practice has earned recognition in the 2026 Chambers High Net Worth Guide, with the firm receiving team rankings in Canada and Texas and four lawyers recognized individually for their work serving high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners.
The firm's Canada and Texas private wealth law teams were both ranked Band 2 in their respective jurisdictions. In addition, four lawyers were recognized in this year's guide: Houston partner Celeste Lawton (Band 1) and of counsel Joseph Sleeth (Band 2), Vancouver partner Laura West (Band 2) and Luxembourg partner Florent Trouiller (Band 2).
The Chambers High Net Worth Guide is an annual publication that identifies leading lawyers and law firms advising high-net-worth clients on private wealth matters through a research process that includes client and peer feedback.
Celeste and Joseph are longstanding members of the firm's private wealth, trusts and estates team in Houston. Their practices focus on estate planning and estate administration for wealthy families and individuals, with the pair often advising on wealth transfer planning with emphasis on the transfer of family or privately held businesses.
Laura advises clients across Canada on estate planning, related trust structures, business succession, governance and charitable giving strategies. Her work is often sought by families with multigenerational ownership interests in large privately held or public companies.
Based in Luxembourg, Florent advises clients on private equity and real estate investments, the structuring of regulated and unregulated investment funds and the tax aspects of cross-border banking and capital market transactions.
