December 19, 2025
Every year, when we reflect on the past, we try to share the things that we are most proud of, and what we have accomplished. This year, we thought we would change it up, giving gratitude to some of the not so often highlighted people of our work. Please enjoy, DRO's 2025 Top Twelve. (In no particular order)
12. Amazing Advocates - who brought their vast lived experience to every webinar, legislative visit, or listening session.
11. Seasoned Staff Members - who brought their wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project or challenge they encountered.
10. Bold Board Members - who represented the best of us throughout the year with their guidance, perseverance, and direction.
9. Lovely Leadership - who have led our staff this year to high potential and with high care.
8. Dedicated Donors - who give to our cause with grateful hearts.
7. Collaborative Community Partners - you know who you are - who helped us shape policy, conversations about disability rights, or who helped us learn something new.
6. Extraordinary Elected Officials - who worked with us throughout the year on issues that people with disabilities cared about most.
5. Incredible Interns - who made a long-lasting contribution to our work in a short amount of time.
4. Courageous Clients - who trusted us with their stories in times of need.
3. Valuable Volunteers - who have given us one of the most precious resources of all, their time.
2. Cherished Caretakers - who allow Ohioans with disabilities the autonomy to reach their fullest potential.
1. Social Supporters - who cheered us on behind screens through every like, share and follow.
Your support of our mission for an equitable Ohio for people with disabilities has been our huge driver this year. As we end 2025, we want you to know how much we value your partnership.
Thank you for all the ways you showed up and showed out with us this year. If you feel compelled to give in this season, we hope you'll visit our Stronger Together page, and learn about how you can support our work.
