On 30 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, represented the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Reception on the occasion of the Constitution Day and the National Day of the Republic of Poland at the Siam Kempinski Hotel, Bangkok.
The Vice Minister extended his congratulations to H.E. Mr. Karol Nawrocki, President of the Republic of Poland, and the Polish people. He reaffirmed Thailand's commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in key areas of mutual interest, including defence, international security, research and innovation, and digital infrastructure. He also expressed appreciation for Poland's continued support for Thailand's accession process to the OECD and the negotiations of the Thailand - EU FTA. Both sides expressed their shared intention to enhance trade and people-to-people ties, and welcomed the recommencement of direct flights between Bangkok and Warsaw by LOT Polish Airlines, scheduled for October 2026, which will facilitate exchanges between the two countries.
