2026 Honda Accord and Odyssey Named “Best Cars for the Money” by U.S. News & World Report

The 2026 Honda Accord and Odyssey have won U.S. News & World Report "Best Car for the Money" awards in the publication's 2026 new car rankings. The Accord has won the midsize car class for the second consecutive year, while the Odyssey earned top honors in the minivan class for the sixth year in a row.

The Honda Accord, a repeat standout in the Best Midsize Car for the Money category, showcases Honda's commitment to producing reliable, budget-conscious sedans. The Honda Odyssey extended its Best Minivan for the Money winning streak to six consecutive years, reinforcing its reputation for family-friendly features and long-term value.

The "Best Cars for the Money" awards methodology combines measures of quality and value to create an overall award score. Quality is measured by the overall score a vehicle achieved in the U.S. News car rankings at the time the awards are published. The rankings, updated monthly at https://www.usnews.com/cars, compare cars based on safety, reliability and a consensus of industry experts' opinions. Value is measured by a combination of a vehicle's five-year total cost of ownership and the average price paid for the vehicle at the time the awards are published.
