DGA Statement on Arizona GOP Primary Results

DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement in response to Andy Biggs becoming the Republican nominee for governor in Arizona:

"After years of pushing extreme policies that made life worse for Arizonans in Congress, Andy Biggs is running to bring the dysfunction of DC to the Copper State. At every turn, he's put his own extreme agenda and powerful insiders first at the expense of everyday Arizonans. He's protected political allies over victims of sexual abuse and trafficking, backed a cost-hiking agenda that has made groceries and gas unaffordable, and voted to slash health care. It's no wonder he's spent the primary hiding and afraid to answer for his record. Even his own party is warning he's too extreme for Arizona, and we're going to ensure he's rejected at the ballot box in November."
