Telephone conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev

As a follow-up to the conversation they had had during the CIS Summit in Dushanbe on October 9, the two leaders discussed a number of pressing bilateral issues. They confirmed their mutual willingness to continue strengthening bilateral ties in trade and the economy and implementing joint projects in energy, as well as transport and logistics.

Additionally, some aspects of regional cooperation and the international situation were discussed.

The two leaders agreed to maintain contact at various levels.
