NAM Appoints NMMA President/CEO to Council of Manufacturing Associations Board

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) recently announced new leadership for its Council of Manufacturing Associations (CMA) at the CMA 2026 Winter Leadership Conference, including the appointment of Frank Hugelmeyer, NMMA president and CEO, to the Council's 2026 board of directors.

The Council of Manufacturing Associations brings together more than 200 industry-specific manufacturing associations representing approximately 130,000 companies. The Council works in partnership with NAM to strengthen collaboration across the manufacturing sector and broader business community, align policy and advocacy priorities, and support strategies that grow manufacturing jobs and investment.

Hugelmeyer's appointment strengthens the recreational boating industry's voice within the nation's largest manufacturing organization and ensures the industry is represented in key discussions shaping the future of American manufacturing.

"Manufacturing is essential to recreational boating, supporting hundreds of thousands of American jobs and the businesses behind our supply chain," said Hugelmeyer. "I'm honored to serve and collaborate on NAM's Council of Manufacturing Associations and represent NMMA members as we work together to strengthen U.S. manufacturing, expand workforce opportunities, and encourage long-term investment.
