On Oct. 30, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office SWAT team arrested a man for possessing child pornography.
About a month earlier, detectives received a tip that a 26-year-old San Tan Valley man was downloading CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material).
Detectives obtained search warrants for two homes, one in San Tan Valley and another in Queen Creek, and collected evidence with the assistance of agents from Homeland Security Investigations and the Queen Creek Police Department.
Investigators have found about 1,900 CSAM images so far. The man was booked into the Pinal County Jail on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. After his arrest, he admitted to using cocaine before driving and was also processed for DUI.
