On 26 September 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, delivered opening remarks at the 6th Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Group of Friends on Universal Health Coverage Global Health (GoF on UHC) which Thailand jointly co-hosted, along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, as the co-chairs of the GoF on UHC at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The event was also supported by the World Health Organization (WHO), UHC2030, and UN Foundation and was well-attended by over 100 participants, including Ministers of several countries.

The meeting was held under the topic of "Strategic investments for resilient health systems: Strengthening health systems and advancing universal health coverage in a changing world," inviting countries to exchange views on investment for strengthening health systems, including universal health coverage (UHC). The Director-General presented Thailand's principles underpinning "S-A-F-E" (Safe, Adequate, Fair, Efficient) UHC financing to support sustainable UHC funding, and also emphasized the importance of knowledge and experience-sharing for advancing UHC.
