Reconstruction Project to Begin on 29th Street North of Middle Road on Monday, April 20

April 14, 2026 - Beginning Monday, April 20, 2026, work begins on 29th Street from Middle Road to Maplecrest Road as crews reconstruct the roadway.

This project includes removing the existing pavement, constructing new storm sewers, placing new concrete pavement including a 10-foot recreational trail on the east side of the roadway, and restoring the surface.

To ensure the safety of the traveling public and the construction workers onsite, 29th Street will be reduced to one-way traffic northbound from Middle Road to Maplecrest Road. This traffic change will last for the duration of the project and a detour for southbound traffic will be in place (see map below). In addition, crews will close the outside westbound lane of Middle Road during this timeframe to allow them to safely connect 29th Street to Middle Road.

This project is expected to be completed by the end of August, weather permitting.
