LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Colorado Christian University is proud to announce that Charlie Denler, Director of Composition and Artist in Residence in the University's School of Music, has received a Regional Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for VIVET I: Excerpts from An American Symphony No. 1.
The honor marks Denler's fifth Emmy Award and tenth Emmy nomination, further distinguishing his accomplished career as a composer, conductor, and recording artist. The award recognizes excellence in television arts and music composition and was presented Saturday, June 6, 2026, by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
As Director of Composition at CCU, Denler mentors and equips aspiring composers while maintaining an active professional career creating music for film, television, and concert performance. His work has been performed internationally and has earned numerous awards and recognitions.
"Charlie Denler exemplifies the excellence, creativity, and dedication to craft that we strive to cultivate at CCU," said Dr. David Corbin, Provost of Colorado Christian University. "His continued success on a national stage is a testament not only to his remarkable talent, but also to the impact Christian artists can have when they pursue their calling with excellence. Denler expressed gratitude for the recognition and the opportunity to continue creating meaningful artistic work.

It is a privilege to share that passion with students at Colorado Christian University as they pursue their own artistic callings."
