E! ANNOUNCES “THE GREATEST YEAR IN POP CULTURE” STREAMING ON FANDANGO AND E! DIGITAL PLATFORMS ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 5

E! presents The Greatest Year in Pop Culture, a new docuseries revisiting the years that shaped modern pop culture. Coming to Fandango, the E! app, and E!'s YouTube on Monday, October 5th, The Greatest Year in Pop Culture kicks off with 2003 and explores the pop-culture defining moments of that year and their lasting impact on today's entertainment landscape.

Through archival E! footage and articles, era-defining music, nostalgic film and TV clips, and firsthand accounts from the people who lived it, the series connects the dots between pop culture then and now. The docuseries brings together actors, executives, musicians, reality stars, journalists and scholars to share insider perspectives, anecdotes and never-before-told stories, revisiting the standout moments that made the year unforgettable.

2003 was a year that delivered no shortage of iconic moments, from Madonna and Britney Spears' VMAs kiss to the birth of Myspace. But it was the unassuming late-summer debut of The O.C. that changed pop culture forever. Featuring Evan Ross Katz, Jesse Metcalfe, Ashanti, Liz Gateley, Josh Schwartz, and Dave Holmes, this installment of The Greatest Year in Pop Culture explores how the hit teen drama ignited a new era of reality television, celebrity obsession, and fandom culture.
