PR No. 41 OUTSOURCING OF RAILWAY SCHOOLS: A MAJOR STEP TOWARDS PROMOTING MODERN EDU

Pakistan Railways today held a signing ceremony under the supervision of Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi to outsource three major railway schools. During the ceremony, the Railway Boys & Girls School Karachi was formally outsourced to TYMS Education System, while Railway Girls High School Mughalpura Lahore and Railway Girls Saint Andrews School/College Lahore were handed over to SAGE/DAGE Education Pvt. Ltd. The agreements for Karachi were signed by Tayyab Mirza, while the Lahore agreements were signed by Dr. Nasir Mahmood. This initiative is being implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in line with the Prime Minister's vision, aiming to modernize Pakistan's educational institutions and ensure the protection of the rights of railway employees and their children.

Under this initiative, the private partners will introduce a modern curriculum, advanced teaching methodologies, an upgraded examination system, well-equipped science and computer laboratories, sports facilities, and renovated school buildings. The program also includes structural upgrades and additional classrooms to meet academic requirements. Federal Minister Muhammad Hanif Abbasi stated: "The future of railway employees' children is now in safe hands, and this initiative represents an important step towards a bright and promising future." With the successful outsourcing of Karachi Boys & Girls School, Mughalpura Girls School, and Saint Andrews School/College, Pakistan Railways is making significant progress in transforming its educational institutions into modern, high-standard, and self-sustaining centers of excellence.
