Joint Crack Seal on Route 8 and 6 in various towns in Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that joint crack seal will be performed Route 8 in Colebrook - .43 Miles north of Sandy Brook Road to Massachusetts State Line and Route 6 Watertown/Thomaston (Route 262 to Route 6). This project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 3 and be completed on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Traffic control signing patterns and signs will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
