Grant application period opens for community-led arts events

As the summer season wraps up, the City of Eugene invites individuals and organizations from our community to apply for the 2026 Art in the Parks and Downtown Program Fund grants. These grants support community-led events that bring art, culture and connection to our public parks and downtown spaces.

Funding of up to $5,000 is available to individuals and organizations who want to create their own artistic or cultural programming in Eugene. Art in the Parks grants fund projects in City parks; Downtown Program Fund grants support activations in downtown spaces. Projects can include music, dance, theater, film, festivals, visual art and more.

These grants align with the City's goals to promote equity, sustainability and vibrant public spaces that inspire joy, dialogue and connection. Projects that foster community belonging and celebrates diverse voices, including those from BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities, low-income residents, people with disabilities, unhoused individuals, youth and seniors are prioritized.

Ready to bring your vision to life? Visit eugene-or.gov/5078/Art-in-the-Parks and eugene-or.gov/3733/Downtown-Program-Fund-Grant to learn more and apply. Applications are open now and must be submitted by noon Nov. 12.
